Clinical Observation Of Zhuang Medicine Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Cervical Vertigo

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of Zhuang medicine acupuncture in the treatment of cervical vertigo,and to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of cervical vertigo.Methods: The subjects of this study were patients who visited zhuang Medical Outpatient Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ren ’ai Branch hospital from January 2021 to December 2021.Sixty patients with cervical vertigo who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method,with 30 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture by Zhuang medicine.Acupuncture points were selected based on the principle of zhuang medicine disease differentiation and specific prescription: Tianerhuan 3 points,Tianerhuan 6 points,Tianerhuan9 points,Tianerhuan 12 points(TTh2-3,TTh2-6,TTh2-9,TTh2-12),Face ring12 points(TMh-12),dorsolateral second ring 8 points,dorsolateral second ring10 points(TSBh2-8,TSBh2-10,bilateral),knee second ring 6 points(DXh2-6,Bilateral),3 points of dorsalis pedalis second ring,4 points of dorsalis pedalis second ring(DZBh2-3,DZBh2-4,bilateral).The control group was treated with TCM acupuncture,and acupoints were selected according to the principle of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment:Empirical main points: Baihui,Fengchi,Neiguan,Taichong;Acupoints: Fengyang type with xingjian,Xiaxi,Taixi;Phlegm turbidities with Zhongwan,Fenglong,Yinlingquan.Main points of deficiency syndrome: Baihui,Fengchi,Ganshu,Shenshu,Zusanli;Acupoints: liver and kidney deficiency with zhishi,Xuanzhong,Sanyinjiao;Qi blood deficiency type Qihai,Pishu,Weishu.Both groups were treated once a day with 30 min of needle for 10 days as a course of treatment.There were 2courses of treatment.The scores of the cervical vertigo Symptom and Function Evaluation Scale(ESCV)and the Clinical symptom evaluation Scale of TCM vertigo were recorded before treatment and after 2 courses of treatment.Finally,SPSS22.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the obtained index data.P<0.05 indicated that the comparison between the two groups was statistically significant.Results:(1)Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences between the treatment group and the control group in baseline indicators such as gender,age,course of disease,ESCV scale scores and evaluation of clinical symptoms of TCM vertigo(P > 0.05),indicating that the baseline was balanced and comparable.(2)Comparison of indicators of ESCV scale after treatment:ESCV scale in both groups after treatment in dizziness,headache,neck shoulder pain,daily life and work,psychological and social ability five aspects of integral was improved,the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05),the zhuang medicine acupuncture and Chinese medicine acupuncture can improve the patients ESCV rating scale,two methods of treatment all can improve the symptoms of patients with vertigo,Relieve headache and neck and shoulder pain,improve daily life and work conditions,improve psychological and social ability.(3)Comparison of the evaluation scale of clinical symptoms of TCM vertigo in patients after treatment: after treatment,the score of clinical symptoms of vertigo in the treatment group and the control group decreased compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both Zhuang medicine acupuncture and TCM acupuncture can improve the clinical symptoms of vertigo in patients.(4)Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups after treatment: in the treatment group,1 case was cured(cure rate 3.3%),9 cases were marked effect(marked effect rate 30.0%),14 cases were effective(effective rate 46.7%),6cases were ineffective(20%),and the total effective rate was 80%.Control group: 3 cases were cured(cure rate 10.0%),14 cases were marked effect(marked efficiency 46.7%),8 cases were effective(effective rate 26.7%),5cases were ineffective(16.7%),the total effective rate was 83.3%,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).It shows that both Zhuang medicine acupuncture and TCM acupuncture can effectively treat cervical vertigo,and there is no significant difference between the two treatment methods,with the same curative effect distribution.Conclusion: Zhuang medicine acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture can improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients with cervical vertigo to a certain extent.There was no significant difference between the two,and the curative effect was the same in the treatment of cervical vertigo.The results show that Zhuang medicine acupuncture has good clinical efficacy in the treatment of cervical vertigo.It can be used as a new method for the clinical treatment of cervical vertigo and is worthy of further promotion.
