The Clinical Research Of Modified Wendan Decoction In Treating Early And Middle Chronic Renal Failure

ObjectiveTo observe the efficiency of Modified WenDan Decoction in treating early and middle chronic renal failure (spleen and kidney qi deficiency with wet and blood stasis) and to investigate the diagnostic value of Cystatin C for early and middle chronic renal failure. To provide new ideas and methods on early and middle chronic renal failure in traditional Chinese medicine treatment.Methods50cases of early and middle chronic renal failure, who belong to spleen and kidney qi deficiency with wet and blood stasis, are divide in to treatment group and control group randomly. Each group comprises25patients. The patients were given basic treatment in the control group. The patients were given Modified Wendan Decoction and basic treatment in the treatment group. After12weeks, we compare the difference between groups, including the symptoms, serum creatinine, serum urea nitrogen, Creatinine clearance, cystatin C and liver function, study the data with statistical analyses.ResultsComparison of the comprehensive curative effect, the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference was significant(P<0.05). Comparison of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome curative effect of total points, the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05). The two groups had showed statistical significance in terms of serum creatinine, serum urea nitrogen, cystatin C and Creatinine clearance, the decline of serum creatinine, serum urea nitrogen, cystatin C and the rise of Creatinine clearance in the treatment group were more obvious than control group (P<0.05). According to correlation analysis, Creatinine clearance showed negative relationship with serum creatinine, serum urea nitrogen, cystatin C in chronic renal failure compensation period and decompensation stage. Among them, cystatin C was most closely related to Creatinine clearance (P<0.01).ConclusionTaking Modified Wendan Decoction on the basis of basic therapy can improve the clinical efficacy of early and middle chronic renal failure(Spleen And Kidney Qi Deficiency With Wet And Blood Stasis), can obviously improve the clinical symptoms and the renal function indicators. cystatin C was more valuable on diagnosis of chronic renal failure compensation period and decompensation stage than serum creatinine and serum urea nitrogen.
