ObjectiveTo summarize professor Huang’s experience of prescribing in the treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis (CGN) through data mining in the medical record. As for the result, we expected, can enhance the inherit of famous TCM doctor’s experience, which can provide a new therapeutic method for clinicians, and then to raise the level of treatment of kidney disease.MethodsCollect the records of outpatient who had been suffered chronic nephritis and then not only converse to other formats but also serves as an archive of patient data. With the support of Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System, we generalize some laws about professor Huang’s experience of prescribing in the treatment of chronic nephritic syndrome.ResultsThe results of92patients TCM differentiation types indicated that the cause of chronic nephritis mainly lies in two aspects of deficiency in origin and enrichment in symptom, which contain syndrome of qi insufficient of spleen and renal, syndrome of deficiency of both qi and yin, both spleen and renal yang insufficient, syndrome of stagnant dampness-heat, etc. Therapeutic principles and methods of CGN contain replenishing qi and nourishing yin, invigorating spleen and kidney, clearing away heat and removing dampness, promoting blood circulation to expel stagnation, removing dampness. The common used herbs:Radix Glycyrrhizae, Fructus Ligustri Lucidi, Cortex Eucommiae, Herba Pogostemonis, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Semen Cuscutae, Semen Euryales, Herba Taraxaci, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix Astragali seu Hedysari, Herba Ecliptae, Herba Cirsii, Os Sepiellae seu Sepiae, Radix Pseudostellariae, Rhizoma Cyperi, Poria, Rhizoma Imperatae, Herba Epimedii, Semen Coicis, Herba Dendrobii, most of which conducted by the theory of Chinese medicine, is sweet and calm and do good to our body by invigorating vital energy, tonifying yang, and formula for diuresis and diffusing dampness and so on.With the support of system,5couplet medicines and8new prescriptions are concluded.5couplet medicines are poria combine with semen cuscutae, semen cuscutae combine with Rhizoma Coptidis, Radix Pseudostellariae combine with Rhizoma Dioscoreae, poria combine with Rhizoma Coptidis, Radix Astragali seu Hedysari combine with Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae.8new prescriptions are Poria、Herbal Ecliptae、Skin of Poria、Rhizoma Pinelliae; Poria、Cortex Eucommiae、Skin of Poria、Rhizoma Pinelliae; Radix Astragali seu Hedysari、 Semen Cuscutae、Herba Epimedii、Poria、Herbal Ecliptae、Radix Pseudostellariae; Cortex Phellodendri、Rhizoma Corydalis、Semen Euryales、 Rhizoma Anemarrhenae、Fructus Tritici Levis、Os Draconis、Rhizoma Et Radix Oryzae Glutinosae、Fructus Tribuli; Fructus Corn、Semen Euryales、Rhizoma Alismatis、Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae、Cortex Eucommiae; Cortex Fraxini、 Herba Plantaginis、Herba Taraxac、Rhizoma Cyperi; Herba Epimedii、Radix Pseudostellariae、Fructus Lycii、Poria、Cortex Eucommiae.ConelusionIn Professor Huang’s opinion, not only deficiency of spleen and kidney, but also excess of the dampness pathogen and blood stasis are accounting for the development of CGN. Professor Huang’s experience of treatment is aiming at the high-dose, sweet and calm drugs, spleen and kidney, pathogen and blood stasis. While the treatment of patient with asymptomatic hematuria should aiming at invigorating the spleen and dispersing the stagnated liver-energy, asymptomatic proteinuria should choose some supplementing formula to coordinating yin and yang. When patient with renal function abnormality, we can give a prescription base on invigorating yang, promoting blood circulation and removing dampness.
