Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of spicy food spices and antiseptics:Cinnamaldehyde and Imidazolidinyl Urea, which agent induced allergic contact dermatitis.Methods:210mice were randomly divided into seven groups:30of control group (group A), spices groups (group B), spicy food spices groups (group C), antiseptics groups (group D), spicy food antiseptics groups (group E), spices groups+antiseptics groups (group F), spicy food+spices groups+antiseptics groups (group G), each were30. The mixture of10%pepper decoction and56degrees of alcohol were fed to group C, E and G mice as10ml/(kg.d), once a day, totally14days. When the pungent model was completed, then finished the t induced process of the allergic reaction. When finished the induced reaction in the7days,0.6%Imidazolidinyl Urea and3%Cinnamaldehyde were applied on the skin once for single skin, this process is the excitation process of the allergic reaction. Then the skin reaction was observed and scored after24h,.The swelling and weight of the right ear, spleen and thymus indexes and the number of infiltrated inflammatory cells in skin lesion were recorded. After24h, blood sample were obtained from mouse orbital sinus to serum levels IL-2and IL-10, and expression of IL-12in skin lesion were measured by ELISA and immuno-histochemistry, respectively. Results:Skin inflammation was increased after applying of hair dye and perming agent on mouse dorsal skin24h, Spicy state back and dermatitis of auricle swelling in mice increased significantly, and back and auricle swelling degree dermatitis model change highly positively correlated. Stimulate mice ear thickness before and after comparison, increased in group C, E and G.Serum IL-2(Thl cytokines) were increased in Group B, D and E; whereas IL-10(Th2cytokine) was decreased in group G. Dermatitis scores were upregulated in group C, E and G. IL-12was also increased in group C, E and G.Conclusion:1. The spicy food significantly exacerbated the spices and antiseptics agent induced allergic contact dermatitis2. IL-2was increased i the spices and antiseptics agent induced allergic contact dermatitis under the stimulation of spicy food, however, IL-10was decreased, resulted in Th1/Th2imbalance.3. IL-12was increased in the lesional skin under the stimulation of spicy food, ACD causes the condition aggravation and prolonged.
