Objective: colorectal polyps is originated from the intestinal mucosa epithelium andhighlights the vegetations from the intestinal mucosa, and its pathological types areinflammatory, proliferative, adenomatous and so on. The incidence of adenoma ishighest, and it is a kind of benign tumor, but it is a premalignant lesion of ColorectalCancer. Now it formed sequence of the polyps-adenoma-cancer, and it has beenrecognized as one of disease pattern of Colorectal Cancer (CRC). According toincomplete statistics, the incident of colorectal cancer in the whole world, has rankedthird men and women in the second place, and its ranks are still on the rise. In recentyears, our country’s the morbidity and mortality of colorectal cancer are also growing,so in order to reduce tumor threat to human life, understanding of colorectal polyps, especially the risk factors of colorectal adenomas polyps research is imminent. Anumber of epidemiological investigations have showed that the metabolic syndromeinvolved in the pathophysiological process of the onset of rectum polyp, the factors MSrelated, such as blood lipids, blood glucose, blood pressure, etc., their relationships withthe onset of colorectal polyps research are also on the agenda, and studies haveconfirmed that MS is a risk factor for colorectal adenomas, and is associated withadenoma recurrent and treatment. To sum up, if you can control in colorectal polyps, especially of colorectal adenomas, it is expected to further reduce the incidence of coloncancer, so researching risk factors of colorectal polyps is particularly important. Despitea large number of studies suggest MS associated with colorectal polyps, but therelation with MS and polyps location at home and abroad is relatively rare. Therefore,in this paper, according to this argument, we need to collect clinical datum of patients ofbenign colorectal polyps (e.g. proliferative, inflammatory, adenoma, etc.), and analyzethe correlation between metabolic factors associated and colorectal polyps location. Methods: The patients with benign colorectal polyps, in the first hospital affiliated toDalian medical university digestive internal medicine in October2012to October2013,are as the object of research. We strictly screening of selected cases. We can recordblood lipids, blood glucose, blood uric acid according to the patient’s blood biochemicalcriterion, and judge patients, whether they have high blood pressure, diabetes, coronaryheart disease and other metabolic correlation factors indicators abnormal or not, according to the patient’s medical history, imaging and endoscopic statistics. They candivided into the left-side colon polyps and right-side colon polyps group in terms of thecase data above. Using clinical data were retrospectively analyzed, included in thepatient’s general information collection, analysis and metabolic factors in colorectalpolyps of the correlation between the position.Results:1. collected175cases, left-side colon polyps in85cases, including28cases ofwomen and57cases of men. The right-side colon polyps in90cases, containing38cases of women and52cases of men.2.The cases and the proportion of different ages of different colon polyps parts: theleft half colon polyps:<40years:1case,1.17%;40to60years old:49cases,57.64%;>60years old:35cases,41.17%.Right half colon polyps: cases and the proportion of different ages are:<40years:4cases,4.44%;40to60years old:37cases,41.11%;>60years of age:49cases,54.44%.3.Proportion of merger related index cases and MS respectively of different colonpolyps parts:the left half colon polyps:<40years0cases;40to60years old27cases,31.76%;>60years old:32cases,37.65%.The right half colon polyps:<40years:1case,1.11%;40to60years old:26cases,28.89%;>60years old:43cases,47.78%.4.Left half colon polyps:19cases with fatty liver (22%),9cases (11%) of coronaryheart disease,12cases of diabetes,(14%),45cases of high blood pressure (53%),35cases of hyperlipidemia,(41%),61cases of high HDL group (72%).5.By the Statistical analysis, of chi-square test and the multi-factor logistic regressionand so on, finally it is concluded that left half colon polyps group for negativecorrelation coefficient1.059with hyperlipidemia, fatty liver is negatively related withthe left half colon polyps, and positive1.059to the right-side colon polyps group, can be obtained with hyperlipidemia in right half colon polyp of the colon. Similarly all lefthalf colon polyps group and the correlation coefficient of HDL is0.051respectively, arenegative, that is low HDL patients with colon polyps happens in right half colon polyp.6.such as gender, age, fatty liver, hypertension, coronary heart disease, high blooduric acid after statistical tests (P>0.05), the difference has no statistically significant. Itthinks they have no relation with colon polyps location. Conclusion: Colorectal polyps location have relation with sex, blood lipid, fat liver, and HDL-C. Through the statistical analysis, it prompts patients with colon polypswith male, Hyperlipidemia and low HDL take precedence in right half colon.
