The health and nutritional status of pupils in relation to the future of the country. To a certain extent, nutrition and health status of pupils can reflect the country’s social development and progress in a certain extent level. Following the rapid development of social economy Chinese, people’s living conditions have been greatly improved. At the same time, along with the increase in child, the society all kinds of nutritional health and food safety is more and more concerned about the students. This research will be the students diet condition, Guangzhou Dongxing primary school nutrition, food safety consciousness based on the situation, to guide the students to use of scientific diet structure, and based on the results of analysis and formulate suitable for the students of the actual situation of the scientific and reasonable diet health and food safety knowledge solution. According to the actual situation of the work, this research used in two ways:interview, questionnaire. Specific for:the author through questionnaires on the city of Guangzhou Dongxing primary school students diet and diet structure, as well as the student nutrition and food safety knowledge, attitude and behavior status of the investigation.The investigation results show:(1) diet characteristics the results tell us, the school pupils three meals a day to Steamed Rice, most of the students have the habit of evening meal and eat flour food. In addition, the school students diet structure unreasonable conditions. Specific performance:boys and girls, vegetables, fruit, dairy food intake has not reached the requirements.(2) the nutrition and health status of the students. Among them, the performance of the more prominent is the presence of malnutrition and overweight in the camp. The girl in the malnourished is slightly higher than boys, while boys higher than girls in the proportion of overweight.(3) knowledge about nutrition and food safety. The school students awareness in the following several aspects as follows:food safety knowledge awareness rate was58.50%; the awareness rate of nutrition knowledge was42%; nutrient function and dietary source of knowledge awareness rate was26%; reasonable diet knowledge52.60%.(4) diet nutrition and food safety behavior. The school students every day to eat breakfast every day to eat fruit ratio of60.55%; the ratio of35.62%; daily intake of vegetables, the proportion is72.66%; the daily intake of meat was82.77%; the daily intake of dairy products accounted for19.90%; the daily intake of eggs of30.10%; daily intake of soy foods accounted for22.30%. The school students to buy or eat food before often or always pay attention to production date and valid packaging has76,67%, never edible packaging bulging and breakage of packing food89.4%students.(5) knowledge acquisition way88.1%students obtained by the classroom teacher’s teaching,40.5%students want to obtain knowledge through school education, to explore82%of the students hope to comprehensive practical activities on the form of knowledge about nutrition and food safety.Conclusions and recommendations:(1) diet structure of the school students are generally not reasonable position, intake of protein foods appear monotonous characteristics, high protein content is still unable to fully meet the needs of the age of physical growth. From the perspective of educators and guardian of the students point of view, we should strengthen the school pupils vegetables, fruits, milk, eggs, food intake. Trend and further adjust the diet structure rationalization.(2) presents the physical characteristics of the school pupils:obesity and malnutrition still exist at the same time. Both of the school pupils’ physical cause adverse health effects. From the development of education in overall point of view, we should take timely measures to gradually change the status quo.(3) the way of Guangzhou city Dongxing primary school students acquire and hope to acquire knowledge more diversified, in addition to classroom teachers to teach, also hope that through their participation in the activities, such as the comprehensive practice by the students love.
