Senior citizens’ medical security is an important part of most countries’ retirementwelfare, providing economic guarantee for medical treatment of retired people. In the ageingtrend of world population, the proportion of aged people is getting sustaining growth, makingmore obvious and flinty for the importance of medical security and the challenge of agedmedical security system. Compared with developed countries, China’s aging trend has suchcharacters as higher speed and surpassing-economic-development, forming flinty challengefor China’s constructing medical security system. Therefore, research for this field becomesespecially exigent and significant.Due to different historic origin, economic system, political system, and cultural system,aged medical security system for a certain country is diverse. Neither developed countries nordeveloping countries are perfect and able to copy, but useful reference could be found fromforeign countries’ measures. Britain, America, Japan, and Singapore are selected in thisarticle, respectively representing pattern as national sanitation service security, commercialmedical insurance, social medical insurance, and individual saving account security. Thisarticle roundly and systemically introduces the conditions of aged medical security system forthese foreign countries and China, realizing experience lessons from these typical foreigncountries’ aged medical security system through comparing research.
