Humulus scandens.( Lour.) Merr. is the annual mulberry, which has a wide range, strong adaptability, rapid growth and it is a kind of perniciousness weeds.Humulus scandens has stolon which grows and spreads rapidly, and often entangled on crops or trees, serious impact on the growth of other plants. Its negative effect is still can not be ignored. But at present, there has been no comprehensive reports on Humulus scandens in-depth, and the ecological benefit is also lack enough understanding, especially the research about its biological characteristics. In this research, the biological characteristics of Humulus scandens is researched in-depth,and the regular pattern of growth has been mastered. It’s not only has important theoretical significance for people to understand and recognize the growth and development regulation and characteristics of Humulus scandens, but also has far-reaching practical significance for the removal of Humulus scandens. The article measured and analysised the biological characteristics of Humulus scandens in its roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds and so on. Certain research results has been obtained, which can provide a reference basis for understanding the biological characteristics of Humulus scandens.Because of the damage of the growth of Humulus scandens results the prevention and treatment of Humulus scandens is imminent. It’s no doubt that using herbicide spray Humulus scandens has became a first choice, and the common sulfonylurea herbicide in chemical spraying experiment is Tribenuron-methly. This article adopts the method of chemical spraying, and the herbicide contains different concentrations of surfactants that is TBP and DES.and after the spraying of Humulus scandens, sampling and processing is used respectively in different time period. Using HPLC(Agilent 1200) to measure the content of the Tribenuron-methly in spraying Humulus scandens, so as to select the best surfactant concentration, in order to achieve the purpose of reduce the use of Tribenuron-methly. In addition, based on the experience of use the HPLC, established the best mobile phase. The results of the research are as follows:1. The biological characteristics of Humulus scandens showed a great difference and diversity in its roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds. There is a big difference in the number and length of the secondary stem and level 3 of Humulus scandens. And thestems of the seedlings of Humulus scandens have a rapid growth in 30 days or so; The leaves of the Humulus scandens have a big difference in petioles, color, leaf size or number of incision; Single male flowers of Humulus scandens were significantly greater than the size of the female flowers, and their amount are more than female flowers. The Humulus scandens seed of its shape approximate circular, and its average diameter is 0.424 cm, 1.099 g per average, water content is between 8.221%and 8.551%, germination rate is low, belong to the long-term dormant seeds.2. Using HPLC test the Tribenuron-methly, the best proportion of the mobile phase is : 70% methanol, 30% phosphoric acid aqueous solution.3. All of the surfactants used in the experiment can promote the absorption of the Tribenuron-methly, and with the extension of the time, the osmotic quantity of the Tribenuron-methly increase gradually. The best concentration of the DES and the TBP respectively are 150 mg/L and 100 mg/L.Above research results can provides practical guidance to the research of the biological characteristics and chemical prevention technology research of Humulus scandens at the same time, and also laid a theoretical foundation to the research of germplasm resources. The establishment of the best test condition on Tribenuron-methly make a help on the HPLC work. The optimal concentration of surfactants has the practical significance on the use of herbicide.
