The Feed And Medical Value's Evaluation And Utilization Research On Wild Humulus Scandens | Posted on:2010-07-15 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:W H Guo | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2143360275965920 | Subject:Animal Nutrition and Feed Science | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | According to the current big developing trend in the livestock and the situation in feed demand, especially the obvious supply and demand contradiction that herbivorous animal demand for high-quality forage , in order to make up for deficiencies the artificial cultivation of forage and straw feed, develop and utilize actively local wild grass resources to raise farm income, at the same time achieve the harmonization of economic, social and ecological benefits. So carry out a series of research work. Divided into three parts:First, the study of growth development laws and major nutrients changes in Hebei wild humulus. The study found: Under the conditions of sufficient water, wild Humulus scandens germinates and emergences earlier, grows faster, per plant produces higher yield compared with under drought conditions(P <0.05); under the same moisture conditions, the growth speed and yield per plant of the wild humulus in plains or in mountains have no significant differences (P> 0.05); Wild Humulus scandens has better meristematic capacity in Axillary, keep major creeper 50cm when cutting ; 8,9 month mowing can produce better results.Second, the application research of wild Humulus scandens in livestock production. Sixty Belgian rabbits, 2-month-old, were randomly divided into 2 groups. Humulus scandens trial group feeding fresh grass, control group feeding fresh alfalfa. The results show that the trial group diarrhea rate and the significant difference between the control group (P <0.01) in the control group cecal the number of bifidobacteria increased significantly (P <0.05), while the number of E. coli was significantly lower than the control group (P <0.05);the average daily gain, dry matter intake, feed conversion and slaughter rates of trial group are higher than the control group, but the difference was not significant (P> 0.05); alkaline phosphatase, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase levels of trial group in the blood was significantly lower than the control group (P <0.05), the organ coefficient, production performance and the control group there was no significant difference (P> 0.05), renal, kidney biopsy there was no obvious pathological injury. The Tirty-six fatting sheep (Suffolk×Small Tail Han sheep F2) were randomly divided into two groups (the trial group and control group), trial group feding Humulus scandens 3 kg of fresh grass, control group feeding fresh alfalfa 3 kg; supplementary concentrated feed 0.5 Kg /day . The results show that: the trial group's feed intake and feed conversion decreased by 18.1% and 15.71%, have reached a significant level (P <0.05);trial group crude protein digestibility was lower 10.82 percent than the control group, but the difference was not significant (P> 0.05), fat and crude fiber digestibility compared with the control group were 9.92% and 2.69%, respectively, not significant (P> 0.05), serum biochemical indicators there was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Third, the preliminary study in medicine value of wild humulus scandens. Ninety Belgium rabbits ,35-day-old, were divided into three groups :100% humulus scandens group, 50% alfalfa +50% humulus scandens group and 100% alfalfa group. The results: Wild Humulus scandens can effectively prevent the occurrence of diarrhea; the diarrhea difference was extremely significant (P <0.01) between Humulus scandens experimental group and the non-pilot group humulus scandens. Feeding humulus scandens not only reduce the incidence of diarrhea but also reduce the production costs. Humulus scandens polysaccharide is no obvious effect on antibacterial and it's immune function was to be studied further. Extracting Humulus scandens decoction through relevant technologies, doing experiment of preventing and treating diarrhea in rabbits; the results showed that the effects were lower than the antibiotics and probiotics. Conclusion: Humulus scandens is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine forage , containing more rich in protein and fat. The study found: humulus scandens can meet livestock's needs of normal growth and development, Showing the same feed effect with the contour of alfalfa reducing the cost of feeds; taking Humulus scandens not only reduces the incidence of diarrhea but also to reduce the use of antibiotics to improve the safety of animal products. But regardless of Humulus scandens humulus polysaccharide or decoction, has no significant effect on diarrheal diseases. | Keywords/Search Tags: | wild Humulus scandens, growth and development regularity, nutrition dynamics variation regularity, rabbits, sheep-fattening, safety, medicinal value, economic benefits, ecological benefits | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
