Study On Flower Landscape Design Of Flower Show In Cold Region

The flower show has the functions of improving of the environment, creating beautiful landscape and cultivating people’s temperament. Today, flower show is a set of flower application forms in a body, not only enriches flower landscape, carries forward flower cultural, but also has the function for scientific research and science popularization, as well as flower germplasm conservation and biodiversity protection of important base. Because of the climatic conditions limitation, cold city are relatively short for flowers species and the start of the flower show is later than the southern city, causes many problems of the flower show in cold region, which give more challenge in flower landscape design. However, the study on flower landscape design of flower show in cold region was rarely reported. In order to improve flower show ornamental effect in cold region, enhance flower landscape characteristics, change the flower show held in the form of identical situation, the study on flower landscape design of flower show is very important.This paper consulted the related concept and the theoretical basis of flower landscape of flower show in cold region, analyzed development course and theoretical research status of domestic and foreign flower show; summarized and analyzed the types of flower show, artistic technique of flower landscape performance, display modes and space types. A survey of twenty-nine representative flower shows in cold region was done, and flower show types, common flower species, flower color, application frequency, flower varieties and flower application form of flower show were analyzed. This study summarized its advantages in flower landscape of flower show in cold region as well as the existing problems and some suggestions were made on it. On the basis of theoretical research and comprehensive research results, flower landscape design methods of flower show in cold region were summarized. Finally, these above research was verified in practise by designing the flower show of Heilongjiang garden in Heihe, hoping to provide a theoretical and practice reference for the future of flower landscape design of flower show in cold region.By theoretical analysis and study of practical application of flower landscape design of flower show in cold region, the results obtained are as follows:(1) Through reading a lot of literatures, summarized the development history and the current research status of domestic and foreign flower show situation. This study analyzed the artistic technique of flower landscape performance and summarized the display modes of flower landscape in flower show including natural, regional, creative and connotative, summarized the space types of flower landscape in flower show including linear space, planar space and body shape space.(2) The major forms of flower show were spring and autumn flower shows in cold region. The survey recorded 50 species common flowers of flower show in cold region,which belongs to 21 families, the highest proportion of them were annual and biennial flowers, the main of them were warm color species, flower bed, flower belt and flower clumps are abundant, flower border and stereo modelling are less. The flower landscape of flower show in cold region shows the following problems: flower species are less, application form is single, quality maintenance management is low. We suggest the designers should enrich local flower, perennial flower and indoor potted flower species, increase on the introduction and cultivation of wild flowers, increase participatory flower landscape, create a multifunctional flower space and constructing regional and cultural characteristics of flower landscape, strengthen maintenance management.(3) In this research, several principles of flower landscape design in flower show were put forward inculding the principle of diversity in theme expression, the principle of participatory landscape design, the principle of dual regional flowers and the principle of ornamental and economic. We analyzed the construction technique of flower landscape space effect in flower show as follow: creating space atmosphere, enriching space level, controlling space scale, connecting and permeating space. With the emphasis on the terrain and the special space, the characteristic flower landscape space can be constructed. Flower landscape space sequence is created by the use of guidance and intimation and space penetration. The methods of flower landscape design were analyzed by using pattern, community, container, color and mix of other landscape elements. The application of static element and dynamic elements by flower was discussed to build flower landscape of artistic conception.(4) Theoretical research results of the project is applied to spring tulip show and autumn Chrysanthemum show design of Heilongjing garden in Heihe. Based on the theoretical research of the previous paper, the general layout, the theme and structure, the design of the scenic spots and the selection of flowers were designed practice in detail. Flower ornamental characteristics,geographical features and cultural implications were fully converged to flower show design,combined to meet the basic needs of visitors to the flower show, inspected the application value of the theory by practising, demonstrated the theoretical research topic is correct.
