Survey Colored-leaf Plant And Landscape Evaluation Analysis In Shenyang Parks

In this paper, the colorful-leaf plants in Shenyang’s parks of autumn are investigated and analyzed.Before this paper, lots of references about colorful-leaf plants has been went through.Through investigation on the spot, the species, collocation patterns and color of colorful-leaf plants in main parks are recorded.(1) According the investigation, there are 52 kinds of colorful-leaf plants, belonging to 25 families,41 genera, concluding 31 kinds of trees,16 kinds of shrubs,2 kinds of herbs,3 kinds of vines. Their ratio are respectively 59.61%,30.77%,3.85%,5.77%. Classified by color, there are 31 kinds of yellow-leaf plants, 14 kinds of red-leaf plants,4 kinds of purple-leaf plants,2 kinds of white-leaf plants and 1 kind of mosaic-color plant. There ratio are respectively 59.61%,26.92%,7.69%,3.85% and 1.92%. The plants are collocated mainly by single, line, clump or group.(2) During the investigation, the auhor take many photos about the landscape and made evaluation of it. SD method is used to quantification-evaluated the samples and BIB-LCJ method is used to qualitatively-evaluated them. For BIB-LCJ method, appraisers are divided into three kinds, college students majoring landscape, college students majoring others and social group. Different appraisers make different evaluations, but by linear regression analysis, it indicates that most of the people’s aesthetics are similar, while students majoring landscape make different values owing to their professional knowledge.(3) For SD methods, according the appraisers’ choice for adjective, we get the beauty-extent. Then, the data of SD methods are factor-analyzed and we get the beauty-factor and function-factor of colorful-leaf plants. For these 2 methods, SD method is more objective and BIB-LCJ method focuses the people’s subjective feelings. Taking these 2 methods can make the investigation more reliable and truly.(4) According the quantification-analysis for high-quality samples, there are 4-6 kinds of plants, the ratio of trees and shrub is 2:1 or 1:1, the ratio of colorful-leaf plants is 1/2~3/4. Then, we analyzes the color of high-quality samples by Color Impact software, the results indicates that there are 3-6 sample colors and the color layout is synthesizing type. We get high-evaluation-value color matching method. For contrast color harmonic, yellow and purple should be matched,belongs to this kind of collocation of plant have Acer negundo L with Prunus cerasifera Ehrhar f,Buxus sinica with Prunus cerasifera Ehrhar f,Lonicera maackii with F.atropu Tpurea; for complementary color harmonic, purple and green should be matched,belongs to this kind of plant have F.atropuTpurea with Forsythia suspensa/Poplus alba L./Ligustrum obtusifolium /Sabina chinensis,Prunus cerasifera Ehrhar f with Picea/Early Lilac/Ligustrum obtusifolium; for similar color harmonic, green and yellow should be matched,belongs to this kind of plant have Ulmus pumila with Celtis bungeana/Buxus sinica/Forsythia suspensa,Acer negundo’ with Syringa,Buxus sinica with Forsythia suspensa and SophorajaponicaLinn with Amygdalus triloba/Forsythia suspensa/Lonicera maackii.This study could provide some theory and examples for colorful-leaf plants’ collocation patterns and future’s landscape development in Shenyang parks. Besides, it could bring theory foundation for following research about colorful-leaf plants landscape in Shenyang.
