With the gradual depletion of the world’s energy and the worsening pollution environment, development of electric vehicles become an important means to solve energy and environmental problems. Currently, electric vehicle technology has been rapidly developed. And considering the characteristics of agricultural industry of China and the development of agricultural machinery problems, taking electric vehicle technology to the agricultural machinery is not only in line with internationally recognized new energy routes, but also reducing the cost of production of agricultural machinery and improving the mechanical properties. Based on the above factors, this paper studies an electric chassis device of self-propelled seedling transplanting.The object of this paper is studying an electric chassis of self-propelled seedling transplanting machine applied for agricultural facilities. Combining with the current application of more sophisticated chassis technology for electric vehicles and electric transplanting machine chassis technology, effectively applied electric chassis technology to the design of transplanting machine. Design an easy using and energy saving chassis of self-propelled electric seedling transplanting machine.Design of transplanting machine electric chassis includes a design of drive system and a design of chassis body. The design of drive system is based on the design requirements of batteries and motors for electric chassis.By calculating the battery capacity, the motor power, rated voltage and other parameters and comparing of the integrated performances of battery and motor of different types, select the appropriate batteries and motors, and desing a motor controller. Design of chassis body includes the scheme selection of driving system, transmission system, braking system and steering system. Based on the mechanical analysis and calculation, design the structure the chassis body. The structural designing takes advantage of the Pro/e software.This paper selects the electric chassis frame to finish the finite element static analysis and model analysis. Firstly, import Pro/e modal into ANSYS, simplify the model, meshing, and impose constraints. Finish static analysis and modal analysis of the frame. Conclude the maximum deformation of the frame and equivalent stress. Finally, use formulas to check frame stiffness and strength. Meanwhile through modal analysis, it can also conclude the first twelve-order constraint modals of the frame and main formations. Prevent the occurrence of the resonance phenomenon as to the results of modal analysis.On the basis of theoretical calculations and software analysis, this paper conducted a trial of electric chassis performance test. The test results show that the electric chassis basically meet the design requirements and working needs of the self-propelled seedling transplanting machine.
