Rice is the main food crops in China, which has single yield and total production. But the level of mechanization of rice in our country is integrally lower, and the main performance is that the level of rice planting mechanization is very low. Rice planting mechanization has become a "bottleneck" of the development of mechanization of rice, which severely restrict sustainable development of the rice production and agricultural mechanization in our country.Though studies on the rice planting mechanization are earlier in China, mainly focus on the research of the transplanting mechanism and rarely research on walking chassis of rice planting machine, becoming one of the prime causes of low level on rice planting mechanization. In China, existing type of the high-speed rice planting machine is mostly dependent on imports and the price is expensive, making the most of the users can not afford. There are many problems, including large turning radius, plugging of the mud and short through property on deep mud and water, due to backward technology of individually postiche products. Besides, key components which depend on imports caused continually high-price.This topic is derived from the corpus "the research and development of the light and multifunctional chassis in the rice field", which is a part of national science and technology support the project "the key technology research on manufacturing of agricultural equipment with modern multi-function" (project number:2011 bad20b08).In this paper, object of study is a new type chassis of rice planting machine. According to the theory of design and experimental study on vehicle chassis, we can choose research method is comparative analysis and analysis means is finite element method (fem).The main research content is as follows:(1) Complete contrastive analysis of the theory is based on chassis of new-type rice planting machine and rice transplanter of the Ynmar RR850. It includes contrastive analysis on through property, dynamic property and kinematics,etc.(2) Complete experimental study. It includes test on noise, vibration and turning radius, etc.(3) The research on key system.①The design a kind of mechanical transmission. Mainly includes the overall design of mechanical transmission, the overall design of clutch and the structural analysis of the shell based on finite element method (fem), etc.②The design of the unilateral brake system. Mainly includes the roadmap of unilateral brake system, the design of the brake master cylinder and the selection of angle sensor and wheel speed sensor, etc.③The design of the device which have a function of reducing vibration and noise. Mainly includes scheme of reducing vibration and noise, the overall design of the muffler and the selection of main parameters and rubber vibration pad, etc.(4) Complete 3D modeling of the whole machine and analysis of prototype’s performance. Based on available data,3D model of new type of rice planting machine’s chassis was established by using software of CATIA integrated application and the comparative analysis of physical prototype’s parameters on performance.(5) The engineering analysis and experimental study of basing on steering drive axle. The force of shell’s parts was calculated through analysis and research on the transmission system. The establishment of the finite element model based on CATIA to steering drive axle, the finite element model was calculated and then analyze. Results of physical prototype’s testing data contrast with results of finite element analysis.Researches shows that using diesel engine as power source on the new rice planting machine’s chassis, it has better property of crossing the bulge, dynamic property and the ability of prevented subsidence. Mechanical transmission makes gear’s utilization of new rice planting machine’s chassis improved, and having a function of inserted graft. Rubber vibration pad with a new muffler have a good effect on reducing vibration and noise. Unilateral brake system decreases turning radius of new rice planting machine’s chassis, increase stability of steering and economy of fuel, as well as possess auxiliary brake, improve the reliability and security of the brake system on the chassis. To sum up, new rice planting machine is better than rice transplanter of the Ynmar RR850 on their chassis, and solved a lot of problems, such as the large turning radius, plugging of the mud and short through property on deep mud and water.In conclusion,A new type rice transplanting machine chassis has solution to problems that High-speed ride transplanter exist in short turning radius and short through property on deep mud and water etc,and in vibration and noise etc respect be superior to Ynmar RR850 transplanter chassis.
