The crawler carrier is one type of transport vehicle which is widely used in industrial and agricultural production. With the rural urbanization and agricultural modernization process developing in China, the demand for crawler carriers is increasing ceaselessly. Crawler carriers with high-lifting system can raise the carriage in the vertical direction to a certain height, and dump the material to a fairly high position which will widen the application scope of the machine, especially in the occasion several vehicles working at the same time. Thus, the study on the high-lifting system of crawler carriers has an important practical significance to improve the operating capacity and the comprehensive property of the crawler carriers. The high-lifting system of the HSC55 P crawler carrier is studied in this paper. The structure, key parameters and the drive system are designed and studied. A proper scissor-type high-lifting system scheme which is right for HSC55 P is proposed by comparing common forms of high-lifting systems and the working principle of the scheme is descried. The structure of the lifting system is built. The parameters of main components are calculated and the components are selected base on the calculating results. The scheme of the high-lifting hydraulic drive system is presented, and the hydraulic system schematic diagram is provided. The geometry model of the high-lift hydraulic system is built with SolidWorks software and ANSYS Workbench is used to do the statics simulation research according to different working conditions. The simulation result shows that the key performances meet the design requirements. The optimized design of the main structure reduces the weight of the original design. The optimized system satisfies the requirement of strength and stiffness.
