China has a vast territory, fruit planting area, including orchard in mountainous and hilly areas, by single and small area planting management changes gradually to the small scale, the traditional agricultural machinery is all-purpose machine in orchard operation process insufficiency, flexibility poor, resulting in China’s orchard operation for the artificial completed, causing low efficiency, poor economic characteristics. According to the regional distribution characteristics and the characteristics of the labor force in our country, the paper designs a kind of multi function platform which is specially used for the work of the orchard. The specific work of this project includes:1 According to the cultivation mode of Chinese orchard, dwarfing close planting of reference type planting pattern, determine the shape parameters and working parameters of working platform. According to the distribution area and soil characteristics of the orchard, the selection and design of the walking mechanism were carried out. The content and characteristics of orchard operation were analyzed, and the specific function and stability requirements of the platform were determined.2 The function of the orchard operation platform, the parameters are determined, the relevant parts of the calculation, selection, design. According to the working environment and requirements of the orchard, the operation function, working height, running speed and stability of the system were tested, and the experimental data were analyzed and evaluated. The experimental results show that the platform can significantly reduce the amount of orchard labor orchard operation, improving working efficiency and economic benefit and social benefit farmers.
