Wood is nowadays the widely used renewable resources in the world, plays an extremely important role in our national economic construction, however, China’s total and per capita consumption of forest are both far below the world average, forestry development is still faced with enormous pressure and challenges. As a key measure of scientific silviculture, the mechanization degree of forest tending is very important to the global development of forestry production. While in the forest tending work, skidding transport workload takes as much as 70% of the total workload, therefore the mechanization degree of skidding transport has become the key factors influencing the schedule of forest tending work. The forest road in our country is rugged, and the forest tending work has the characteristics of small removals and the scope of work is dispersed, so put forward to the small forest skidding transporter that can be flexible, safe and stable while work in the forest, as well as the self-rescue system which works to achieve self-rescue aid in accident.Based on the analysis and research of the forest tending work environment characteristics in our country and the current situation of the skidding transportation mode, combined with the structure form and working principle of the existing forest skidding transport equipment, determine that the suitable device type for the forest tending work’s skidding transportation is the small crawler structure, the winch structure is used in the self-rescue system. On this basis, determine the rationalization overall structure and layout for the forest skidding transporter and its self-rescue system, and respectively set the main parameters of the structures.For small forest skidding transporter work across the sparsely populated and terrain complicated forest, it is prone to rollovers, depression and other kind of dangerous accidents but difficult to get foreign aid, the structure design of the winch in the self-rescue system is from two aspects with the use of system power driver and manual driver, make sure that when the skidding transporter confronted with dangerous accidents, the operator can rapidly and safely achieve the self-rescue work.With the help of ANSYS finite element analysis software, take static and dynamic analysis for the key components, through the static study, it is concluded with the stress and strain contours and safety coefficient contours, in order to check the strength and stiffness of the key components; dynamic research is mainly by means of modal analysis, get the low order natural frequency and vibration mode of the key components, to study the vibration stability and local dynamic response, and then analyze its weak link and the solution to solve the problem.Using Solidworks software to establish the solid model of the forest skidding transporter and the self-rescue system, inspect in the process of the 3d model assembly whether there is interference phenomenon by interference detection module, in order to facilitate a timely correction; through the mechanical analysis of the skidding transporter in the self-rescue process of the common accidents, make further improvement of the self-rescue structure of the forest skidding transporter; through the motion simulation module of Solidworks software, take motion simulation analysis for the forest skidding transporter and its self-rescue system.
