Effect Of Shenguiwujia Granule On Immunity Function In Chickens

Objective: To study the effect of Shenguiwujia granule on immunity function in chickens.Methods: 200 Haline Chickens, being clinical healthy and having even weight, were randomly divided into 4 groups,50 for each group, group 1 is blank,Group 2-4 were as the natural experimental groups which were fed respectively the diets containing 0.05% of Shenguiwujia granule,0.1% of Shenguiwujia granule and 0.2% of Shenguiwujia granule. The index of thymus and spleen and Bursa of Fabricius,the rates of transformation of lymphocyte (T and B),the content of IgG,IgA, IgM, IFN-γ and IL-2 in serum and the titers of NDHI antibody were determined.ResμLts:(1) At the age of 21,28,35 days, compared with control group, the thymus index,spleen index and bursa of fabricius index of group 3 were significantly increased (P<0.05), the proliferation rates of peripheral blood T lymphocyte and B lymphocyte were significantly higher (P<0.05), serum content of IgA, IgM.IgG,IFN-y, IL-2 and NDHI antibody titer increased significantly (P<0.05);Compared with group 4, in addition to the thymus index, the contents of IgG NDHI titer in the age of 28 and the T lymphocyte proliferation rates in the age of 21, which were no significant difference(P>0.05),the rest of the indicators were significantly higher (P<0.05). (2)Compared with control group, in addition to the content of IgA and IL-2 in the age of 21 and 28 days in group 4,which were no significant difference (P>0.05), other indicators were significantly higher (P<0.05). (3) Compared with control group, thymus index, spleen index, T lymphocyte proliferation rate, IgG, IgM, NDHI antibody titer in the age of 21 of group 2 were significantly increased (P<0.05);bursa of fabricius index, rate of T lymphocyte proliferation, IgG, IgM in the age of 28 of group 2 were significantly increased (P<0.05);at the age of 35, only the T lymphocyte proliferation rate and IgM were significantly increased(P<0.05),other indicators had no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:This study showed that adding 0.1% and 0.2% of Shenguiwujia granule can obviously improve the immune function in chickens. In the actual production, add 0.1% Shenguiwujia granule as the best.
