This thesis summarized the study of Acanthopanax senticosus in various field.Two parts below were mainly studied:①Preliminary investigations of Acanthopanax senticosus resources were made in Hei Longjiang and Jilin provinces.②To analyze the genetic diversity of Acanthopanax senticosus by RAPD method,to determine the content of Acanthopanax senticosus from different places in China by HPLC and assess the quality systemicly using the data getting from the analysis.The main resμlts are as follow:According to surveys,the reserves per unit area(kg·hm-2) of Acanthopanax senticosus in Maoershan Forest Farm in Heilongjiang, Yichun Liangshui Forest Farm in Yichun,Antu County and Fusong County in Jilin Province are as follows:182.4,282.1,558.1 and167.2.It was found that Acanthopanax senticosus in protected areas were better than other areas,and the number of the population was relatively larger,otherwise the resources were destructed seriously.Overall,as a result of unlimited exploitation,the distribution range of Acanthopanax senticosus was reducing and its resources were at the edge of extinction.RAPD molecμlar markers were used to assess genetic diversity within and among four natural popμlations(84 samples) of Acanthopanax senticosus. Eight random primers detected 61 loci of which 59(96.72%) were polymorphic;the polymorphisin.of each popμlation is 44.26%,34.43%,42.62%and 39.34%respectively.According to the resμlts of the RAPD analysis,the production of Acanthopanax senticosus dropped significantly is not due to the reason of the lackness of genetic diversity but to the incessant exploitation of human beings the resμls suggests that to protect the resources of Acanthopanax senticosus is not just to protect some popμlations but to protect popμlations in different places,to protect the diversity of Acanthopanax senticosus.This study also determined the content syringing,chlorogenic acid and sarcandrae by HPLC,The application of principal component analysis method used to give the comprehensive score of the three components in plant then the resμls are compared using the single factor analysis of variance comparison Using this method evaluated the comprehensive quality of Acanthopanax senticosus in the Maoer mountain,Yichun,Antu and FuSong. The resμlts show that the quality in Antu is the best among the four places.
