As a kind of famous vegetable,tomatoes((Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.;2n=2x=24)) have attracted lots people attention. People have given increasingly attention on flavor quality and nutritional content of tomato fruit. A certain amount of the acid is essential for good flavor. One of the important goals of tomato breeding is breding suitable acid content of tomato varieties to meet the market demand. Accordingly, research on tomato fruit acid content becomes very important..1. Material 12680 and 12574 have been screening as parents which have differet level of acid content.Then we use the means of pollination to creat six generations. Through the determine the content of tomatoes to understand the range of this character. The experiment proved that Experimental results show that This character in line with the quantitative traits.2. SSR and AFLP maekers have been selected to carry out the molecular markers experiment. Then,some of those marker have been identified to use to finish the jod of drawing maps. At last, We have obtained some results that two QTLs have beed foundand both of them are meaningful conclusions.3. In order to test the conclusions,we screened for 30 varieties, combining the measuring physiological indicators and marker method, both the identification results are matching.It proves the accuracy of the research is very high.So,after no long it can be applied in the practical work.
