Straw coverage can effectively improve the bamboo forest soil fertility. The woodland soil of total phosphorus, total nitrogen, total potassium and hydrolysis of organic matter and nitrogen content has increased significantly after straw cover than not covered.2. Straw coverage increased the woodland soil fertility,at the same time can effectively improve the physical properties of soil. After the straw cover, on the one hand, can effectively prevent the rains washed out, on the other hand microbial quantity and activity increases, effectively reduce the soil bulk density, increased soil porosity, form good soil structure.3. Straw coverage can effectively improve water storage capacity of the soil, reduce moisture in the soil for natural evaporation, and to keep moisture content.4. Straw coverage can increase the bamboo zhubian length and the diameter of zhubian, compared with the woodland of not coverd, the difference is not significant; But straw coverage can effectively increase the living bud number of ZhuBian, which pay attention to the cultivation of3-4years ZhuBian living bud number is the key to influence the production of bamboo shoots.5.
