Commercial Banks Competitive Intelligence System Construction Under The Network Environment

In recent years, as the financial industrial reform goes deepening in China, the banking industry competition is becoming increasingly homogenization. Coincides with adapting to the domestic economy, "new normal", bad debt rate in commercial banks increased significantly. The various types of Internet companies rely on the advantages of e-commerce, big data, mobile Internet, social networking, etc., began to erode the bank’s core business.Traditional commercial banks facing multiple competitive pressure, in order to keep the original position in the competition, bankers are increasingly aware of the importance of competitive intelligence. Competitive intelligence as an important business decision-making tool, is becoming more and more favored among bank employees. However, due to bank secrecy, the special requirements of precision and timeliness, there are many challenges to carry out the competitive intelligence practice.And papers relate to competitive intelligence system in domestic researches are very few, mostly written in more than a decade ago, they already aren’t suitable for the present situations, due to great changes taken place in information technology environment, era background, market competition environment, policy permission, etc.I did my internship in Kunming Branch of China Minsheng Bank, collected large amount of the latest information. Right through the research process of Competitive Intelligence System, I would analyze the situation of the development of competitive intelligence in China’s commercial banks, and put forward the corresponding suggestions for the existing problems, and provide a trace for these commercial banks to follow when carrying out the competitive intelligence work.
