Research On Supplier Management Of HY Foreign Trade Company

Supplier management is one of the key contents of supply chain management,especially is the core part of the foreign trade company.With the trend of economic globalization and international competition,and the releasing qualification of foreign trade was issue,the foreign trade companies have been faced with more vehement competitions,and their status in the supply chain is becoming weak.In order to increase the status in the supply chain,the foreign trade companies must strengthen the suppliers management and improve the relationship with suppliers,to achieve the mutual benefit and win-win cooperation,enhancing the competitiveness of the two sides together and customers satisfaction and reaction agility.The good suppliers management can not only decrease the purchasing cost,but also ensure the product quality,control the delivery time and the development of new products,so as to maintain long-term cooperation relationship with customs.The current research about foreign trade enterprise supplier management is relatively less,mainly is the study of manufacturing enterprise supplier management.The thesis mainly analyzes that how the foreign trade enterprise establish suitable supplier relationship management,it has a certain practical significance.HY foreign trade company is served as the research object in this thesis.Based on the present situation of the foreign trade industry and HY company,the thesis sums up the problems existing in HY company about supplier management.Combining with the related supplier management theory,and using the methods of analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and subdivision matrix method,it puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the management level in the terms of optimazation choice of suppliers,the effective classification management,performance appraisal system and so on. In the final,combining the practical experience of HY company,the thesis sums up the supplier management risk problems in foreign trade companies,and put forward the corresponding prevention strategies to avoid risks which effectively reduce the cost.
