A Study On The Contribution Of Chinese Township Enterprises To The Construction Of New Countryside In The Transitional Period

Township enterprises is the main carrier of rural industrialization and modernization,also is the main force of the new rural construction.Then this article a research about quantifying the contribution of rural township enterprises in the construction of new rural.This article chooses 1986 to 2011 Statistical Yearbook data of township enterprises.At first,this article builds the evaluation system which township enterprises contribution to the new rural construction,and uses PCA quantify the contribution of rural township enterprises in the construction of new rural;Then,by constructing VEC model and starting from township enterprises’ different contribution to the new rural construction,analyzes the effects of different factors contribute to the various aspects in different points of view.Finally,this article also make a horizontal comparison research,analyzes different contributions which township gives to new rural are in different regions.The results show:Firstly,during economic transition,specifically coming into 21 th following rapid economic growth,the contribution of rural township enterprises in the construction of new rural is increasing,which promotes rural economic development and improves the quality of farmer’s life.Secondly,by unequal weight analysis,different indicators make different contribution to the new rural construction.Among this,absorbing the number of tertiary and higher education,foreign investment these two factors make the most contribution to constructing our new rural;Conversely,the number of tertiary industry township enterprises have a negative correlation with new rural construction.By building VEC model,the article deeply find that the number of tertiary industry township enterprises have a positive correlation with migrating rural surplus labor force in the long-term,but have a negative correlation with promoting farmers’ income.Thirdly,also in different periods and different districts, the township enterprises make different contribution to the new rural construction,but all of the contributions are increased year by year.Finally,if we want to let our township enterprises make more contributions to the new rural construction,we have to do these:Firstly,we must focus on personnel training and attract foreign investment.Secondly,we must control the number of township enterprises appropriately,especially the number of rural industry and the tertiary industry,but also tocontrol the quality of township enterprises.In the process of building a new countryside,the township enterprises play a significant role;Only develop the township enterprises healthy,should our countries walk a sustainable development road.
