Research On Natural Medicine Industry In Yunnan Province Based On Patent Intelligence Analysis

Nowadays, since the significant advantages of natural medicine, both the domestic medicine market demand and the international medicine market demand to the natural medicine are increasing swiftly and continuously, natural medicine industry has been an industry with rapid growth.Yunnan Province is located in China’s southwest border, which is known as "the kingdom of plants and animals" and "the medicinal materials of the township". Yunnan Province has6559kinds of Chinese medicine resources, accounted for51.4%of the country, which is the richest region in traditional Chinese medicine resources in our country. Yunnan Province has the particular advantage of development of natural medicine.This paper wants to compare the natural medicine industry of Yunnan with domestic natural medicine industry, using patent intelligence analysis. In this paper, it will take a variety of research methods to analyze the current situation of the natural medicine industry. Then it will take some specific methods, such as comparative analysis, patent intelligence analysis, and the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, or the like, to analyze the patent data of Yunnan Province so that can compare with the patent data of domestic natural medicine industry and research the advantage and disadvantage of natural medicine industry of Yunnan.Furthermore, it will analyze the situation of industrial development from the microscopic view of Yunnan province, which includes important pharmaceutical companies, medicine institute and university, and scientific research institutions, so as to determine their development situation, the research direction and the existing problems. At the same time, it will analyze the patent data of unique natural medicine in Yunnan province, i.e., Radix Notoginseng and Erigeron Breviscapus, by using the method of patent intelligence analysis.
