Since 1960 s, being along with the developed countries having entered into the Service Economy Era, the proportion of added value of service sector worldwide maintains an upward trend. As the rapid development of economy, service sector is increasingly playing a leading role, as well as producer service, an important branch of service sector, is being the first force to promote the economic boom. By labor division & specialization, technological innovation, and the reformation of management, the producer service has a great impact on the economic activities and organizational forms. Shown by the overseas experiences, vigorously developing the producer service is the future direction of economic development. For China, We are still in the primary stage of industrialization. Because of the inadaptable industrial structure and industrialization model of resources consumption, the contradiction between economic and environment becomes more and more outstanding. Looking for this situation, producer service, the technology-intensive industry, can greatly enhance the added value of second industry, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure. Also it can change the traditional economic growth path which relies on the simple scale expansion or resources consumption. What’s more, understanding the current producer service’s level and characteristics of internal industrial composition will help us accurately grasp the condition of this industry. So, through the analysis of the influence of various factors, it will practically provide the solutions for the development of producer service. Now, we can see that it’s very urgent and having great significance.Using both the theoretical and empirical research methods, this paper tries to deeply analyze influence factors of producer service structure by logic deduction and empirical panel test, which is based on the comprehensive theories of industrial economics, service economics, transition economics and other relevant theoretical knowledge.In the first part of this paper, starting with the historical documents, sorting out the relevant concepts, classification standard, characteristics and internal mechanism of industry development can set up a theoretical framework of contents below. Then, combined with the focus points of the current research, we can find the foothold of this paper.In the second part of the paper, through a large number of related data’s comparison for both domestic, foreign countries, as well as different provinces, the macro condition of producer services in China appears to multi-levels. We can draw out two major features of this industrial structure: lower in the percentage of GDP,lower standard of internal structure, and diversely differences among different regions.In the third part of this paper, from the three theoretical factors of demand, supply and external factors, Selecting out five general factors and two added special factors into the panel model to test the correlation and significance with the percentage of producer service. The empirical results show that, the level of economic development is the most important booster to the producer service industry, followed by the level of technology input. However, the economic level of openness and the level of industrialization played a negative role, which is opposite by the original supposes. What’s more, the level of urbanization didn’t pass the test on the 10% level.In the last part, after analyzing the deep reasons for those kinds of impact indicators which didn’t meet the original hypothesis, we can find that China’s current resources consumption and investment driven industrialization, simple processing trade model, blinding urban expansion will block the way to accelerate producer service development. After defining the problems, now put out several suggestions for coordinated development and the sustainable growth: firstly, deepen industrial integration for new industrialization. Secondly, deregulation and expanding opening to promote market reformation. Thirdly, strengthen regional combinations to urge the development of industrial agglomeration. The last but not the least, pay more attention to human resources and capital investment.
