Research On The Impact Of Producer Service Trade On The Total Factor Productivity Of China's Manufacturing Industry

Productive service, as a kind of advanced manufacturing inputs, is the key factor to promote the upgrade of TFP in manufacturing. Compared with developed countries,the development of productive service industry and productive service trade in China is relatively backward. Therefore, it is necessary to study our imported productive service trade had a positive effect on productivity of our manufacturing, which has great significance on the upgrade of manufacturing and development of productive service industry.First, based on the carding domestic and foreign scholars of related research,the article analysis the productive service trade agent and list the influence factors of manufacturing TFP change.Besides, the article investigates the theoretical model and the implementation mechanism of the affect of productive service trade had on TFP of manufacturing industry. Secondly, Based on the investigation of the development of productive service trade in China, this article makes a comparative analysis of the cross-border import and FDI of producer services.Besides,this article measurs TFP of manufacturing industry in China, which lays the foundation for the latter empirical analysis.Considering the two forms of productive service trade and data availability, the article uses panel data and multiple regression analysis method to analysis the impact of two forms of productive service trade on manufacturing productivity based on qualitative analysis. Research results indicate that: for munufacturing industry, two forms of productive service trade could increase TFP of manufacturing industry,however,cross-border import has better effects in improving efficiency.Finally, the article brings for policy suggestions based on previous analysis.First,reasonable relaxing producer services opening up and pay attention to cross-border import; Second, expand the introduction of foreign capital and enhance the technology spillover effect; Third, reasonable choicing trade forms and strengthen technological innovation.Fourth,improve the level of human capital and the absorptive capacity of technology spillovers.
