As the knowledge economy comes along, the fiercest competition among organizations is the competition for knowledge capital. More and more organizations realize human capital is actually the core strategic capital. Under this circumstance, organizations no longer want to limit their HR departments to basic tasks such as staff recruitment, payroll and record keeping etc; instead, they expect the HR personnel to have a strategic view and analyze from the core business perspectives. This brings the new topic of HRBP.However, after making a great effort to implement HRBP, those organizations did not find a fundamental solution to their existing management issues. Thus, an urgent and challenging topic came up to the academic word and business leaders: how to ensure HRBP is functioning well by considering the unique characteristics of every individual firm. This paper presents a thorough analysis on human resources business partner by referring to a great volume of academic literatures(both Chinese and overseas). Meanwhile, by drawing on the experience of successful HRBP implementation in both domestic and foreign companies, this paper analyzes and examines the current HRBP management model at DD firm to find its challenges. It eventually aims to find a new management model through practice.So far there have not been many theories or case studies on HRBP. This paper, which presents case studies on HRBP at DD firm, is exploratory in nature. It is hoped this paper can bring value to further academic research and practices on HRBP model.
