Tourismconsumption structureis dividedinto different forms,depending onthe degree of importanceof theconsumption expenditurecan be divided intoessentialtravelspendingandnon-essentialtravelspending.The ratio betweenessentialtravelspending andnon-essentialtravelspending represent tourism consumption structure which isan importantreference indexof measuringthe level ofeconomic developmentandthe level oftourismin thecountry or region. The bigger the ratio is, tourism consumption structuretends to bemoreadvanced. Theoretical research part, this paper introduces the research background and significance, and described the contents and research methods. Secondly, the structure of tourism consumption research results of study. Finally, it defined the concepts related to this article. Empirical research, this paper combined with statisticaldataon thedevelopment ofthe Hong Kong Tourismconsumption structurecomparative analysis, andthe use ofhigh-classtourism consumptionstructureoftourism consumptionindexto analyzethe evolution ofthe level. Secondly,how far thelinear regression model,combined withhigh-classindex ofthe Hong Kong Tourismconsumption structure, draw aconclusion: 1. Hong Kong Tourism Consumption Structure Upgradeuneven development 2.Mainland marketstructure evolution of Chinesetourist spendingandthe Hong Kong Tourismrevenue growthhasa significant positive correlation 3. Hong Kong Tourism Consumption Structure Upgradehas weak effect on Hong Kongtourismrevenue growth 4.Tourismsource marketsofdifferentconsumption patternssignificantly different. Finally,the dissertation issummarizedinadequaciesof this article,andtheresearch prospects: In order to make tourismmore rationaldevelopment, tourismconsumption structure ofhigh-classstandardsshouldbeexplored in moredepth. Social and economic developmentof tourismdestinations, the development of tourism products, and the priceof tourism products, passengerrevenue, touristsbehavioral preferences, etc., may be a factoraffectingthe evolution oftourismconsumption structure.
