How to improve the Chinese companies’ innovation performance, in order to realize a jumping social economic progress, is a great challenge and trial for technical innovation. In this thesis, based on theory, evidence, quantity, quality, and comparison, the relationship between innovation patterns for Chinese companies and the innovation performance is studied from hypothesis verification and conclusion analysis. The aim is to approach the facts and proportion which influence the performance, for the sake of finding out a proper and sophisticated method which can be used for companies’innovation.In this thesis, we studied the companies’ innovation patterns and performance from three parts. The first part included two chapters. In chapter one, we analyzed the background and found out the topic for this thesis. In chapter two, we summarized the papers domestic and overseas about the companies’innovation patterns and the performance. We found out some points should be studied further more combined with patterns and performance. In part two, there were four chapters. In chapter three, we structured technical increasing model, discussed the production progress under different patterns from dynamic balance aspect, described relative and mechanism between patterns and performance. In chapter four and five, we studied the connotations, properties, advantages/disadvantages, impact factors for innovation patterns and performances thoroughly. Compared with three patterns, explained the functionality of innovation performance, evaluated the familiar methods, finally hypothesis verification evidence analysis. In chapter six, we used panel data model and regression analysis, to study the hi-tech empirical analysis. The third part was method realization and conclusion. In chapter seven, we gave out the specific method and suggestions on how the patterns could work on performance. In conclusion, we pointed out some defects, came up with some further study direction.There were two conclusions for theory analysis and evidence verification on innovation patterns and performance respectively. Individual innovation could improve the company’s performance. On the other hand, the increasing of R&D staffs could protect the innovative activities and improve the performance as well. We focused on the effects of individual innovation, imitation innovation, collaboration innovation and also considered the significance of the human cost, government finance funds and FDI during innovative activities. We hoped the study could improve the individual innovation ability of company, help the government put more fund for research, improve the situation of innovation talents in society and provide more research basis for the future study of innovation.
