With the background of reform and open for over thirty years, global economicintegration and WTO entrance, Chinese enterprises seized the opportunities todevelop themselves quickly. However, after the global economic crisis in2008, theeconomy continued to be stagnant, the slack market and the over-productionaggravate the market competition. Those enterprises which developed in past only bymeans of low costs, fall into the difficult positions, lack of competitive power, it’s amust to change themselves, initiatively or passively. Process Reengineering is a kindof theory to deal with the improvement and the correction of the whole operationsystems, guides to review and analyze the enterprise process newly, recognize thebottle-necks, submit the correction schemes, then improve the operation efficiencyand strengthen the competitive power.Taking R company for example, focusing on the accomplishment rate ofproduction plans, the thesis analyzes: the capability shortage in process operation ofproduction plans will cause the on-time delivery risks of customer orders. All kinds ofproblems: orders without review, production plan management not prompt andflexible, supplier out-of-time deliveries, long period of stock turnover, etc., willreduce the accomplishment rate of production plans. Aiming to these problems, thesupply chain management and the production plan control shall be applied, theprocess reengineering will be realized at four sides: order review, production planmanagement, supplier management and stock management. The newly-reengineered process is audited, the performance data of new processare completely better than the ones of old process, this is not just simple quantitativechange, the more important is its qualitative change, the new process strengthens itscompetitive power. These experiences are useful for reference, boost confidence inthe later process reengineering.
