With the frequentfood safety incidents happened in recent years, people pay attention to food safety inthe deepening of. The frequent occurrence of food safety incidents, that thegovernment present food safety supervision and management system has been unableto meet the needs of food safety supervision. Therefore, perfecting and improving ourgovernment food safety supervision, to ensure the safety of food supply, has becomean imminent task.Food safety, is a complex problem involving many actors, requires a coordinatedresponse regulators, scientists, producers and business operators and consumers, alsoneed to improve the safety of the public consumption of food from the administrative,legal, education, media, etc.. This paper based on the public management theory,market failure theory as analysis tool, the food safety supervision in Shanxi provinceLinfen City Hall as research object, conducts the research to the Linfen City Hallfood safety supervision.This paper is divided into four parts, the introduction part expounds thesignificance and value of research, research ideas and methods, the first chapter, thespecific research; Linfen City Hall food safety supervising actuality; the secondchapter analyzes the main problems existing in Linfen City Hall in food safetysupervision and the reasons.
