In modern society, the competition among enterprises has been transferred from the competition of material resources and economic capital to the competition for human capital. Employees are the original source of human capital, the employees driving force determines the size of the enterprise value of human capital. It is critical for the development of enterprises to enhance the enthusiasm of the staff to work autonomously, through increasing the driving force of employees. Therefore, each enterprise attaches great importance to the problem of how to enhance the driving force of employees. In this study, the author, using the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, explore the main factors for enterprises to enhance the driving force of employees.In this paper, the theory of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, as well as management by objectives theory and many other theories are used as the theoretical basis for the research. The paper combines RT’s business practices to analyze the problems of the RT enhance staff driving force. Based on these, the paper presents three theoretical assumptions of the enterprises to enhance their employees’ driving force. The author, using RT as the research object, verifies the theoretical assumptions using a questionnaire survey and interviews in the RT Company. The questionnaire included232valid samples, and the author analyzes these data with SPSS16.0software. During the part of interview study, the Author interviews20employees in RT company in the form of semi-open interviews, and analyses the interview content using qualitative content analysis method.The research show that motivating pay system is positively related to employees driving force, autonomous working environment for employees is positively related to employees driving force, and employees’sense of belonging is positively related to employees driving force. Based on the empirical research, the paper presents some specific measures to enhance staff driving force according to the practical problems in RT Company.The paper enriches the theoretical system about staff driving force, shows some theoretical significance. There are some common problems in the management among many shipbuilding enterprises. The process that the author analyses the RT Company’s management practice using the theoretical research results of this paper provides a reference for other similar enterprises, and expands the practical value of this thesis.
