The Strategic Diagnosis And Design Of International Freight Forwarding Company

Y is a company of20years old, after years of development, it has entered the mature stage, however, it encounters some problems these years, for example, there is no major breakthrough in business development, has rising operating costs, the financial indicators are not ideal. This study adopts scientific analysis method to Y company, through employee interviews, questionnaire survey, we use PEST, SWOT and other ways to analyze the operation process of Y, and then we will propose some advices of the strategy.Firstly, this paper surveys the Y company’s grouth trajectory and the status quo, we find that the problem is the slow development of the enterprise. Secondly, we analyze the reason of the problem using fishbone diagram diagnosis model. Thirdly, we analyze the the external environment using PEST model, the result shows that the environment has changed dramatically, but the company does not subsequently adjust the development strategy. At the same time, using the SWOT and the financial index analysis method, we diagnose the company’s internal operation and management condition, research the effectiveness of the internal allocation of resource. In the end, this paper summarizes the result of the diagnosis, and proposes to improve the management.After the above analysis, we think that the company is at a key moment of opportunities and challenges, China’s growing import and export trade has provided a broad space of development for Y company, the active competitive environment will also accelerate the development of Y company. In addition, the human resources management system is imperfect, marketing strength is weak, internal resources isn’t effectively used, that is the main reason for the slow development of the enterprise. When we set clear operable for Y company’s development strategy, and after the adjustment of its management system perfect, the company will surely take advantage of its business, and achieve its strategic goals.
