The popularization and application of the Internet has penetrated into every field of the society and created a new form of social life. Under the technical support of mobile Internet,the emergence of mobile phone news client affected and changed people’s daily life, and greatly promoted the traditional communication environment to the new media environment.The emergence of the mobile phone news client will be the audience’s passive position in the process of news dissemination into the active position, the role of the audience to the "user" change. Users of mobile phone news client’s use on the one hand by the impact of personal preferences, on the other hand, the content of the mobile news client also directly affect the user’s experience.Mobile news client unique way of communication allows users to access the information at any time and time to become possible, the user’s way of reading is also from the traditional reading habits to fragmentation of reading habits change. Mobile news client to cultivate a new type of user reading habits, it can be described as the new development and future trends of the news media. This paper to uses and Gratification Theory in mass communication as the research angle of view, combined with literature research method,questionnaire survey method, contrast analysis method and case analysis, etc. various research methods of mobile news client.In this paper, the author of the surging news client as the main research object, through a questionnaire survey on the surging news client content dissemination of the "use and satisfaction" aspects of the study. This study analyzed the usage situation of news client,understanding the motivations for use by news client users.
