The Thirteen classics with commentaries which were printed in Yuan Dynasty and engraved in ten lins on each page is the source of the version of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty.So it has a important meaning to study.Focusing on the ink nails in the liji Notes and Commentaries with phonetic notation,we mainly solve the following questions:First, according to the book engraving origin and history, find the publication background of Thirteen classics with commentaries which were printed in Yuan Dynasty and explore it’s evolution in future generation. Conclude a preliminary positioning of the value of this version. Second,summarize the number and distribution of all the ink nails.Third, by collating of difference,dicuss the formation of ink nail. The ink nails always appear in the positions of start symbol,end symbol, rare word, Variant character and the end of sentences. Fourth, after the liji Notes and Commentaries with phonetic printed in Yuan Dynasty,many verisons have repaired the ink nails in different levels. The verison printed in Fujian and the verion printed in the imperial College repaired the least quantity.From the verion printed by Maojin, the ink nails begin to get most reparation.And until to the Ruan Yuan’s verion, the repairation work is totally completed.But there are some errors in the repaired pages,and the errors are always carried on in the next genaration.In the verion printed by Maojin,some of the ink nails are often filled by gussed.
