Sprouted in 2009, tested and evolved in 2013, and started being popular in 2014, Chinese Network Self-produced Drama, in recent 6 years, has been going through a path of significant development, which leads to a great population among Chinese audience. These 6 years sees the process of from quantitative change to qualitative change of Chinese Network Self-produced Drama, but a mature industrial chain has not taken shape yet and the whole industry is still in a period of fumble. Will Chinese Network Self-produced Drama be a flash in the pan? How could it survive in the Internet market? These are questions worth exploring and researching.According to the actual situation of Chinese Network Self-produced Drama, the thesis takes 196 Chinese Network Self-produced Drama made by Letv, Youku, Tudou, i QIYI, Sohu Videos, Tencent Videos and Hunan TV as research objects, analyzing Content Strategies, Derivative Products and Propagation Effects of Chinese Network Self-produced Drama.The thesis follows scientific, systematic, operable principles of the evaluation. First, qualitative research method is used and literatures published in home and abroad are reviewed, in order to summarize the actual situation of Chinese Network Self-produced Drama and to analyze and explain the value of the research on the Content Strategies of Chinese Network Self-produced Drama. Second, quantitative research method is used to analyze the relation between Chinese Network Self-produced Drama and its’ audience. A questionnaire survey is carried out to the audience and the result is used to introduce the awareness, contact and satisfaction of people who watch Chinese Network Self-produced Drama.The thesis contains the objective description of the content distribution of Chinese Network Self-produced Drama and the objective analysis on the satisfaction of audience on Chinese Network Self-produced Drama. The study provides relative departments and enterprises of network production with methods to make Chinese Network Self-produced Drama that meet the demand of audience. It has an important reference value for Chinese network video industry and sets the foundation of innovation in the industry.
