Research On Chinese TV Music Talents

Since the reform and opening,China entered an rapid development stage,meanwhile,along with the enrichment and development of the new media technology and penetration to the life of people,the social environment began changing unconsciously.And with the new culture and thoughts of the western world flowed into our country,all of these provided new challenges and opportunities to Chinese TV industry.In 1984,the first Chinese television music talent show,CCTV Young Singer Competition Show was born,which made people feel the charm of it,many singers who standed out from it has become the spokesman of the Chinese music now.In 2004,a program,Super Girl which main concept is civilian talen brought the television music talent show to another world and gave the audience an unprecedented national carnival.However because of its simplicity which made people produce aesthetic fatigue,until 2012,the appearance of The Voice of China brought new brilliance and vitality,and refreshed the record ratings constantly.This paper introduces the development trajectory of the Chinese television music talent show briefly and selects the most noticeable programs CCTV Young Singer Competition Show,Super Girl,Voice of China as the main research objects,and chooses the agenda setting,media convergence and media literacy as the research foundation,and then analyzes the changes of the program concepts,the evolutional tracks of cultural patterns and the change process of the audience status.In addition,this paper points out the problems of Chinese television music talent show and the direction of development,in order to provide some new thinking and constructive advice for the development of such programs.
