Recently, various industries are enduring profound reforms and also facing opportunities and challenges because of the irresistible internet tidal wave. The trend that internet is blending in industries is becoming more and more obvious. Textile CAD technology is one of the most successful application of computer technology in the textile field, But with the advancement of industrial informatization and intelligent manufacturing, especially the launch of "Made in China 2025" strategic plan, the limitations of traditional fabric CAD system is becoming more and more obvious.Traditional textile CAD system has many shortcomings, such as its high maintenance costs, many restrictions on equipment and couldn’t focus on all industry chain. In order to overcome these drawbacks, based on traditional textile CAD technology experience, developed a cloud-based platform for textile interactive design, production, marketing and other vertical process of the whole industry chain. A marketing and designing network platform with good interactive ability was developed by Microsoft Silverlight development tools and WCF communication services.The platform is based on B/S architecture, the services were deployed in the cloud, the users could access these services through the mainstream browsers. Compared with the traditional fabric CAD system of this platform has many advantages. Firstly, it is low equipment limitation. The user can use platform service through any terminal equipment, bouth PC and mobile devices, which could access t the Internet at any position by almost all mainstream browsers. Secondly, it has realized the interactive fabric design. The designer and the user could design fabric collectively at the same time. The users can fully express their design intent and requirements. Finally, not only do this platform have these traditional textile CAD system functions such as fabric structure design, color design, simulation, and other functions, but also it covered the whole industry such as textile design, production, sale process. It played a very important foundation role in improving the enterprise’s informatization level, intelligent design, and intelligent manufacturing capacity, reducing the distance between upstream and downstream of the textile industries. Besides, it could enhance the cooperation degree of supply and demand has a great role in promoting.
