The IFS Theory On The Application Of Digital Textile

Today the personalized, small-volume, high-precision, green environmental protection, rapid response of the textiles have already become fashionable needs, it's the greatest problem of textile pattern designing to cast off color monotonous style and cultural absent. In the textiles, there always is a saying"From a distance looking color, close looking at patterns". For consumers of textile products, color and pattern are usually the first deciding factor. So, in the textile industry, pattern designing is very important. The refreshing fractal graphics has brought new design element for the current clothing and textile industry. And the use of fractal technology can shorten the design cycle for their industry and create unlimited room for development and economic benefits. The IFS images can be widely used in apparel, clothing, bedding and other textile production.With the development of computer technology, mankind has gradually come into the information and digital society, the new textile technology in computer science----marked by digital technology in textile design has appeared. The modern textile science and technology is the effective mean to improve the taste and grade of textile. The new design concept, design tools, textile art and design technology will inject fresh blood to the textile. The main task of this study is as follows:First of all, this study discusses the principle of IFS-generated graphics, according to the principle calculating the new graphic's IFS code, and using visual basic programming to generate images. And in the program, by changing the color of scroll bar and RGB values to control the color of generated images.Secondly, the mean of each parameter of IFS codes have been discussed. The IFS code's two different forms were discussed respectively. The IFS code's each parameter have been changed, the analysis between images and IFS codes has been made.Thirdly, the matrix form of the IFS code right by the new matrix, the new IFS codes can receive the new IFS fractal images. The new images received still have the various features of the fractal. The application of IFS-generated images in textile pattern designing has been proven. The basic principles of textile design patterns have been used for IFS-generated images. These images can be designed for a variety of patterns on textile, and the finished-patterns were unique and brilliant.Finally, the design patterns have been transferred to the textiles by digital technology. The digital inkjet printing machine and the digital jacquard machine were used in this research. It is convenient to show the precise and fine color of IFS images by these two methods.
