Research On The Development And Utilization Of Information Resources In Chinese University Library

Information resources,is important for people to work and life and for the development of the country, become an important strategic resource for national economic and social development. Its development and utilization is the core content of the information system. The leaders of our country,paying attention to the development and utilization of public information resources, formulated a series of policies and measures to foster, promote, and to promote the public welfare development and utilization of information resources and services. Information resources development and utilization of commonweal can satisfy the basic needs of members of social information, reduce the social costs of obtaining information, create a learning society, eliminate the digital divide, promote to open the administrative information to public; play to the social and economic benefits of the information resources; protectie and promote the advanced culture. University library is open to the public, help to improve the information literacy, help to efficient utilization of information resources. This research is defined as the university library develop and utilize the Information resources for the purpose of serving the society public. Public welfare development and utilization of information resources in university library belongs to the university library socialization service category and the category of public information resources development and utilization of cross area. This reaseach aim to empirical research on the university library faces the society readers’information resources development and utilization.combined with the practical and social expectations of readers’ utilization, proposes the countermeasure, to promote university library’s theory and practice development for exploitation utilization of public information resources.The first chapter is the introduction, this paper discusses the background and significance of this research subject, domestic and foreign research review, research ideas and research methods and innovation points and the insufficiency, etc. The second chapter of public information resources in university library are summarized. Including theory of exploitation and utilization of public information resources, as well as the introduction to the theory of public welfare development and utilization of information resources in university library. The third chapter using the Internet survey and the questionnaire survey of the university library developing and utilizing the Information resources for the purpose of serving the society public. according to the current university library is open to the society readers, and the definition and theory of information resources development and utilization of commonweal, we found that the university library socialization service belongs to the society public welfare development of university library’s information resources. At the same time investigating social readers utilization and expectations for university library. We analysis the differences beween the current situation of our country’s university library developing information resources and Social readers utilizating university library. The fourth chapter puts forward university library information resource development and utilization of commonweal of alliance development countermeasure, independent on deep development countermeasure, the government should encourage and support the university library development countermeasure, strengthen management measures to social readers of university library, makes the development degree is higher.
