Research And Analysis On Student 's Management Information System Of Dehong Teachers' College

Enrollment management involves all the information for each student from entrance to graduation, including basic information on students, enrollment transaction, achievement, reward and discipline, withdrawal et al. As an important component of the university management as well as the university information construction, it plays a crucial role in the work level and efficiency of university management. However, the existing enrollment management mode and information system of Dehong Teachers College have been unable to meet the needs of the current developments including the enrollment expansion, the construction of the new campus and upgrade from junior college to university. Therefore, a new enrollment management information system is necessary. With the help of the advanced network and software engineering technology, the requirements of enrollment management in the new era are analyzed, and then a new enrollment management information system is designed in our work which will effectively reduce the burden of student management staff and greatly improve their work efficiency.From the actual enrollment management demands of the Dehong Teachers College, a new analysis model is constructed which is suitable for our enrollment management information system software with object-oriented method, unified modeling language (UML) and rational rose modeling tool. At the same time, it provides a formal analysis method for the development of university enrollment system. During the researching and analyzing processes, business, functional and data analyses focus on the target system and its five functional modules including basic information on students, enrollment transaction, achievement, reward and discipline management, as well as withdrawal management. In the business analysis process, the existing problems, organizational structure and the original business process are analyzed, then the optimized business process is described by the activity diagram; in the functional analysis process, through the analysis of the system actors, the functional requirements of the system are defined, and the overall use case diagram, the sub-use case diagrams, the overall function package and the child package diagrams are given; while in the data analysis process, the class diagrams as well as their abbreviations are utilized to present the functional data and entity data in the sub-functional modules of target system and at last, the database sheets are designed to store the entity data. Finally, the system analysis model is constructed.
