It is indispensable for Yun Tian Hua Co. Ltd (YTH) to establish a suitable finished-products warehouse system to regulate and optimize the connection between each logistic branches and headquarter as well as to achieve the top-down management of the logistic business and then reduce operation costs. Finally to improve the company benefit and managing efficiency.This dissertation is guided by the software engineering theory, and aims to research and analyze the warehouse information system based on the current logistical management mode of YTH. It begins with the introduction of relevant topics of logistic such as its background, researching purpose, scale and current problems etc. Then the thesis describes the detailed software engineering methods and unified modeling language (UML) to analysis and research the business, function and data by using these means. In the part of business analysis, completed the business current situation analysis, and the business process optimization; and in the function analysis part, it completes feature use-case and feature-pack analysis, explicit the system should include three main function modules:system management module, basic data management module and warehouse management module, those modules have many sub-function modules. For example, warehouse management module contains four sub-modules:products check-in storage module, transferred to store module, check-out storage module, and stock-taking module. The warehouse management function module cooperated with its sub-modules to maintain the contents of clients who support by system, roles, rights, and data, to complete the business requires of sub-modules. Then in the part of data analysis, it discusses the topics including the relation of controlling, the function data, the relation of entity-class, and the definition of the logic construction of database. Based on the results of above analysis, the thesis tries to propose the follow-up developing tasks of software system, and ends-up by series of summaries.The guidance of this dissertation may impose positive effects to the development of system engineer. It will help to create an optimum operating environment to storage system and satisfy the requirements of information system development.
