Research And Practice On The Success Rate Improvement Method Of WCDMA Network Data Service Access

With the development of the 3G technology and WCDMA,the number of 3G user of China Unicom saw a rapid grouth;the mobile Internet business such as the microblog and Wechat have been spread extensively;users have been keeping a higher demand for the quality of the mobile data service with the increasing pressure of the mobile network.The success rate of the PDP activation should not be less than 99%in order to ensure a good user perception.However,this rate of our province has been from 95% to96% for a long time,which hasn’t comp up to the required standard.This paper tried to compare the success rate of the PDP activation with the complaint rate of users and it is concluded that the complain rate of the network increases gradually with the decrease of the success rate of the PDP activation.This paper tries to do the measures for the expansion of base station,the elimination of network interference and the treatment of invisible network failures.With the measures of this paper,the success rate of the PDP activation of SGSN4 has been improved from95%-96% to 99.02%.
