A Study On The Development Of New Media In People 's Daily

Nowadays, the emergence of new media allows us to obtain information faster and more convenient. However, everything has its two sides; the new media is certainly a double-edged sword. Due to the emergence of new media, many newspapers are affected to a certain degree. For developing and surviving, a lot of press groups have to face its reform in the new media environment, and most of them choose to face the challenge form new media, begin its own new media reform. And the pioneer of newspaper new media reform is always the People’s Daily, the leader in the Chinese newspaper industry; the author hopes to summarize the new media reform method of the People’s Daily systematically, and hopes the research results can provide some help for the press group that faces challenges from the new media, or discusses the survival mode of newspaper in the new media environment.This paper tries to find out the inner motive power and external environment background of the new media reform of the People’s Daily.
