Research On The Countermeasures Of Disaster Prevention In China

Archives,the most real record of human being’s memory, is a kind of non-renewable resources,which have vouchers and reference values in the development of all social fields.Therefore,it is a significant mission that safekeeping the existing files scientifically and reasonablly, and prolonging its life span utmostly. People have had developed a consciousness of file protection when it emerged several thousand years ago, files’ disaster prevention(FDP) are faced with new challenges and opportunities in our country.This paper are composed of four parts. The first part is introduction, which include the background, the purpose of the study, research meanings and the research status at home and abroad. The second part analyse the necessity of FDP from the aspects of file value, natural disasters and the damage to files by man-made disasters, which also use the existing archival theory, laws and techs to analyse the feasibility of FDP in our nation. Because we only have necessity in theory but no feasibility in reality, FDP will like empty talk. The thrid part mostly are some problems of FDP that we have in the aspects of consciousness level, the technical facilities and equipments and the construction of system, Which aslo analyse the causes of these problems. The fourth part, the emphasis and difficulty of this paper, discuss the countermeasures of FDP from the aspect of practice to solve the problems in third part. I hope that the countermeasures and advices in this paper can contribute to the development of FDP work in our nation.
