In our country, fire protection archives mainly compose in documents and 2D plans. This project aims to research and develop a system which can quickly generate the 3D computer model of high buildings. This system will provide 3D mechanism for making fire protection archives and promote modernization and information of fire prevention and protection in the city.This project uses Java programming language as development plat. It uses Java 2D API to depict 2D plans and use Java 3D API to describe how to create 3D scene alternant. The author participates in the fore works of the subject. The goal of the fore works is that using Java3D graphic exploitation tools to research how to make 3D scene mutually, using the idea of object oriented to design the system, and resolving the problem of accessing data oriented Java3D three-dimensional virtual scene. Meanwhile, the fore works accomplished representing inside configuration of buildings by 3D measures.Mainly works of this paper are perfecting the system and satisfying with the users' requirements. Therefore, the works of this paper can be incarnate in three aspects. Firstly, it combined the 2D object classes and 3D object classes and achieved the design and modification of 2D classes, and it accomplished the design of surroundings which can be used in the commanding of fire fighting on the spot. Secondly, it accomplished the simulation of smoke particles in spreading. The realistic situation of the smoke is the most important point in the research of the 3D smoke particles. In order to make the smoke spreading situation more living, nowadays the simulation of smoke particles in spreading usually be resolved by given the restricted space height and width in advance, but it is unpractical to describe the situation of smoke particles in spreading through this method. This paper gave a collision detection method of smoke spreading in complex environment. This method didn't only achieve the collision detection of smoke particles in spreading but also changed the movement situation of the smoke particles automatically and it avoided setting conditions artificially. At last, this paper added the 3D cartoon performance for the system to describe the scene that fire engines come into the firelocal dynamically. This performance has great significances for the fire fighting simulated exercises and the fire scene reappearance.This project is a longitudinal project of Shenyang Science and Technology Institute.
