Research On The Realization Of Social Service In Archives

Archives information is comprehensive portrayal of historical truth. In today’s society, the file information have a pivotal role for national progress, social development, and personal development. For the country, archive is an important carrier of accumulation and dissemination of culture; for society, it is an important building material of various social undertakings; for individual, it is an important weapon to protect their own interests.As the public organization which records, storage and use of information, archives has the unshirkable responsibility and obligation for the management, utilization and dissemination of archival information. In the rapid economic development, community information needs for the archives, so archives at all levels should adjust information services timely to find the most reasonable and effective way to meet community’s basic requirements for using of archival information.Based on the connotation, characteristics and principle of social service of archives information, this paper summarize the current conventional and new types’ approaches of archives information society service, and then explore existing problems and specific performance of our archives of information society services. According to the identified problems, this paper proposes the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. I hope that the writing of this article provides some useful lessons to achieves information society services’ realization and development in the future.
