Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has the excellence of compact structure, light weight, high power density, no rotor heats problem and simpler control system compared with the induction motor, etc. By the development of power electronics, PWM technology,computer control and AC motor control, AC variable speed system is replacing DC variable speed system because of its advantages such as solidity,safety, etc.This paper studies an AC variable speed system with the 75kwEMT Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) as the executive component. Digital control can assure the whole system work with the good performances above, flexible function, and fine ability to resist the disturbance.Micro processor DSP with high performance and the advanced power electronic devices make it possible to realize the digital control in AC PMSM drive system.This paper introduces the research status and develops future of EMT. The structure of PMSM is studied deeply.According to vector coordinate conversion principle. The mathematic models in their type reference frame are set up according to their relationship. The models of PMSM in the tow-phase synchronous rotary coordinate (dq0) are deduced and obtained. After that this paper discusses the vector-control strategy of PMSM. And the analysis of several control strategies of vector-control theory applied to the PMSM control, which includes the id= 0 control, cosĪ†= 1 control.and then the paper analyzes the basic principles of the traditional PI controller and presents the engineered method of PI controller design and simulation. And this paper introduces the fuzzy PI controller, for the speed loop fuzzy control The PMSM field-oriented control it simulations. Fuzzy PI controller is designed to replace the traditional PI controller. The static and dynamic performance of this system has been improved.It make the system more robust. Finally,75kwEMT permanent magnet synchronous motor with fuzzy PI control based on simulation improves the system dynamic and static performance, and improves the system robustness and anti-jamming performanceAt last, the paper gives hardware circuits, soft flow, parameter design method and the experimental wave of the PMSM drive system which is designed with TMS320F2812 as the core control element. The experimental result indicates that this drive system has achieved the anticipated target for its each performance.
