With the LanXin high speed railway electrification contact engineering construction as the background, aimed at the structure of the LanXin high-speed rail electrification of catenary, the tight, long tunnel, bridge, catenary construction task and the parameters of the catenary static standard higher actual situation. Therefore, as construction units need a convenient system for mobile, simple operation, stable, durable, low cost, fast response speed, data visualization, strong anti-jamming, high precision, suitable for harsh natural environment of the catenary construction auxiliary measuring device.In this paper, the analysis, research, design of catenary construction auxiliary measuring device is used for catenary construction process to measure the catenary static geometry size portable devices. In the process of catenary construction can be very convenient and accurate and fast measure the catenary geometry parameters, Such as contact wire pull out value, ultra-high, conductor height, rail gauge, mast gauge, etc. This article studied and analyzed the advantages and the deficiency existing in previous measuring equipment, combined with the actual characteristics of the construction site, adopting advanced laser ranging technology is put forward for the construction site catenary static geometry design of non-contact detection measurement.The measuring device system controlled by a central processor module, linear displacement sensors, photoelectric shaft encoder, laser ranging sensor, TFT LCD screen, Angle sensor, camera, keyboard keys, power supply, etc. Using samsung S3C2440 A processor as the central processing unit(CPU) control module system, its peripheral module information interaction, transmission, processing and control. Various components, encoders, sensors, data collected by the central processor processing and will get the measurement data is displayed on the LCD screen. Device at the same time operating system adopted the embedded Linux data processing system, used in a device driver, the writing of the application, maintenance and management. Device also has the man-machine interfaces, namely, TFT color LCD display, operation keys, video aim, making data, visual operation.This article first introduced the thesis research background, and then introduces the basic concept of commonly used catenary geometry parameters, the conventional catenary parameters measuring method at home and abroad are introduced, the basis of analysis of the measuring device modules design knowledge, calculation method, the principle, composition of measurement device system for the design and planning, running on the ARM embedded Linux system are analyzed and its development, analyzes the structure of system software design.
