A Preliminary Study On The Control Of The Style And Feature Of The Urban Building Surface Based On Regionalism

Based on the phenomenon of "more and more style and feature in different cities shows the same",messy style show up in urban architectural style and feature, and the sculpturing of urban architectural style and feature is being misunderstood. The paper focused on the issues caused by the lack of regionalism in urban architectural style and feature. Firstly, the paper made a study on regional architecture design,then concluded the strategy of building surface design. Finally, made an extending research on the strategy of controlling the style and feature of the building surface from the view of urban architectural style and feature control.The paper took a brief review on the process of regional architectural design,then made a reflect and conclusion on the theory and practice of regional architectural design. Concluding the strategy of the building surface and regional architectural design.Putting up with a strategy on how could make regional architectural design associated into the control of urban architectural style and feature,which could make a relevance between individual buildings and the urban interface.taking the style and feature of building surface from the point of morphology as the research object, and made a discussion on the controlling strategy of urban building surface from the view of architectural design and the practice of urban style and surface control.Finally,the paper presented the urban architectural style and feature control at CHUXIONG, and did a critical review and reflect on the research from the view of CHUXIONG practice.
